Tired? Look for the growing number of airport napping nooks—individual mini-suites for fliers.

Next time you feel weary enough to take a nap at the airport, you can do so in comfort at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson, which has installed “napping nooks” by Minute Suites on Concourse B, next to gate B15. Each of the five sleeping rooms has a day bed, a phone, a work desk, complimentary Wi-Fi, a 32-inch HDTV and a sound-masking system. Prices are $30 for the first hour and $7.50 for additional 15-minute increments; overnight stays cost $120. Minute Suites expects to open 13 suites at Philadelphia International Airport in March 2011, and other airport locations may follow. Meanwhile, over at SFO, Unique Retreat plans to open similar napping nooks in Boarding Area A of the International Terminal. The company hopes to set up shop in the “top 10 U.S. airports” and 45 other airports worldwide.
