Budget's New Line of Compact Rental Cars

Driving and parking in congested cities may get a bit easier in a little Daimler Smart Car, now available for rent through Budget Rent A Car’s Street Fleet series of vehicles, which can be reserved by specific make and model (budget.com). The ‘Smart fortwo’ measures 8.8 feet long, 5.1 feet tall and 5.1 feet wide. Aside from hybrids, it is the most fuel-efficient vehicle in Budget’s fleet, rated at 33 miles a gallon in the city and 41 on the highway. The Smart fortwo is available at select Budget neighborhood locations, including Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Miami, Key West, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco.
