The carrier said it will spend about $300 million a year through mid-2013 on the upgrades, which include installing flatbed seats in BusinessElite on 90 Boeing transoceanic aircraft and adding first-class cabins to 66 CRJ-700 aircraft operated by regional connection carriers. Delta also plans to renovate and expand its Sky Club lounge in Los Angeles and introduce new Sky Clubs in the Seattle, Philadelphia and Indianapolis airports.
