Emirates' fleet will expand to 90 superjumbo jets.

Dubai-based carrier Emirates is ordering 32 more Airbus A380 superjumbo jets, valued at a list price of around $11.5 billion. Already the world’s largest A380 customer, Emirates will have 90 A380s in its fleet by the end of 2017. Each of its current 10 A380s seats about 525 passengers, though the airline said it would be interested in an A380 stretched version seating 1,000 passengers—a model Airbus may consider building someday.
