Budget Rent A Car reports that it has awarded members of the Budget Business Program (budget.com/bizprogram) more than $3 million in rebates since the program’s introduction in May 2005. Designed for small and midsize businesses that spend up to $50,000 per year on car rentals, the program helps manage travel expenses by offering discounts and a $2 rebate for every paid rental day. Membership is free, has no minimum spending requirement and is open to U.S.-based companies; drivers must be age 21 or older. Program members receive monthly statements that include a check for total rebates earned. In addition to the $2 back offer, participants also receive additional discounts on all car classes, unlimited mileage, no additional driver fees and complimentary membership in Fastbreak, Budget’s express service, which features paperless transactions.
