A charter airline called Primaris announced plans to begin coast-to-coast scheduled service with all-business-class seating (see this week’s story). Currently, all-business-class airlines only operate across the Atlantic, and one (MaxJet) recently went out of business. Do you think an all-business airline can thrive in the domestic transcontinental market? Or would the more frequent service and loyalty programs of the major carriers doom such a product? Siince the domestic airlines offer dismal business class service, I would hope this service can make a go of it. I will certainly try them on my next trip to the West Coast, if they're available.
