At Salt Lake City and Denver, the TSA is testing a new procedure whereby travelers choose a security lane based on one of three colors, depending on how familiar they are with the process, and/or if they have kids or other things that might slow them down (see this week’s story). Have you been through SLC or DEN recently to try this? If so, how did it work? If not, does this sound like an effective concept to you? Post your comments here.

i don't think it will make any difference. Human nature is always to pick the shortest or fastest moving line and I don't think this new system will change that.
