The CEO of Delta said that with fuel prices at their current level, air fares will have to increase as much as 20 percent for carriers to break even (see this week’s story). Our question: Is your company, or your travel budget, starting to feel the squeeze of rising costs for air fares and related services? How much of an increase in air travel costs can you or your company absorb before you have to start cutting back on your trips? Post your comments here.

I just booked a ticket for $800 between New York and Chicago. YIKES! Even as a business traveler these kinds of fares will impact my bottom line. Will I travel less? No, I have to be out there (even more so now).
