Vacation Time

May 14 2007, 7:32 PM EDT I get 4 weeks a year, and use them all. I find I need the break, and the company I work for is mature enough to be able to cover my absense. I think Americans don't take all of their vacation becuase they are often compelled not to do so, mostly "for the good of the company." 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

What will you do with it this year?"I am a year away from retirement and I get four weeks vacation each year in my new job (started in November). My wife is a school teacher. So far this year, we have spent a week skiing in Colorado, and a week in Sedona, AZ. I fished one vacation day in early May on the Chesapeake Bay. In June, I will be fishing in Alaska and we will visit Glacier National Park in Montana. This will take seven vacation days and I will be in the hole for a few months. My company is understanding because all this was planned when I joined them. It is important for us to have some future vacation plans to look forward to. Peter 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
