American Airlines announced it will start charging $15 for an economy class passenger’s first checked bag in mid-June, unless he’s an AAdvantage elite member (see this week’s story). American already charges $25 for a second checked bag. How do you think passengers will react to this new fee? Will they try to carry everything onboard, jamming the overhead bins? Will they sigh and pay up? Or will they look for an airline that doesn’t charge a fee? How will you react? Post your comments here.
