Some foreign airlines are starting to reduce their fuel surcharges as oil prices fall, and Air Canada is ending its $25 fee for a second checked bag – but United is doubling that fee, to $50 (see this week’s stories). Now that fuel costs are coming down, do you expect to see U.S. airlines eliminate some of their many new passenger fees, and/or drop fuel surcharges? Post your comments here.

With the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York this week, security is on alert. This morning, Jet Blue evacuated its terminal when two objects that appeared to be inert grenades were found in a checked bag. Turns out, they were paperweights.
