The best way to board people is to have those folks carrying items with them to board first from windows out and from the back of the plane forward. Then board everyone else. It takes longer to stow things and get settled for those with bundles with them. Start at the window seats going toward the aile seats. Start boarding as soon as the plane has been serviced. The earlier one boards the sooner the plane will be ready to depart. Even in a 30 seater waiting until five minutes before departure time gives people inadequate time to board and guarantees a late departure.
