All business to Asia?

Singapore said to be considering all-business transpacific service

According to press reports in Asia, Singapore Airlines is looking into the possibility of operating all-business-class flights on select transpacific routes. According to the reports, the airline is considering the all-business service on its non-stop routes between Singapore-New York and Singapore-Los Angeles, where it currently offers two-class (executive economy and business) flights. The airline reportedly is seeing strong load factors for the business class service on those routes, with relatively less demand for economy. If Singapore does make the change, it would be the first all-business-class service across the Pacific. In the past few years, new all-business-class airlines have been prospering on transatlantic routes to London and Paris. By switching to all-business service on its non-stop New York and LAX routes, Singapore would reportedly require economy passengers to take one-stop or connecting flights.
