Upgraded menu available to eat in or take out

American Airlines is rolling out a new food and beverage program in its domestic airport Admirals Clubs. The new food-for-purchase program, called Amora, includes both cold and hot dishes that can be eaten in the airport lounge or packed to go. The clubs will continue to offer free light snacks, coffee, tea and soft drinks as well. The new Amora menu includes seasonal salads, hot soups, fresh sandwiches and wraps, dessert items and “small bites for a quick snack,” such as seasonal fruit and cheese, or smoked salmon with savories, American said. Sample items include a Cobb salad, Fiesta Mexicana salad, and grilled chicken Caesar wrap. The program also includes a variety of new beverages for Admirals Club members to purchase, like Odwalla juices, energy drinks, Cosmopolitans, Tequila Sunrises and Long Beach iced teas as well as various beers and wines. The Amora program became available during July at Admirals Clubs in Austin, Chicago O’Hare, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Los Angeles, and will be rolled out at other domestic locations in the months to come, American said.
