Study finds fading boundaries between business & family travel
Do you carry pictures of family members when you’re on the road? Why not bring along the real thing instead? According to travel researchers D.K. Shifflet &Associates, business travelers are increasingly taking family members with them on business trips. Last year, business travelers brought family along on 14 percent of their 435 million business trips, up 11 percent from 2000. The survey also found that about 61 percent of those who traveled last year by plane with family members were highly satisfied with their trips, versus 55 percent who didn’t travel with family.
