Boston-China non-stops

Boston will reportedly get non-stop China service

The Boston Business Journal quoted a state government official as saying that a Chinese carrier plans to introduce non-stop Boston-Beijing flights in 2009. The report said that Grand China Air, “the rebranded name of Hainan Airlines Group,” intends to begin the service – a 13-hour flight from Boston Logan. The start-up date and schedule frequency have not yet been set. The new service would be Boston’s first non-stop flight to China.
