Carrier expands its growing Mideast network

Noting that travel between the U.S. and the Middle East “is one of the fastest-growing regions in aviation,” Delta Air Lines said it will introduce another new route for that market effective November 7, offering daily 777-200ER non-stop flights between Atlanta and Kuwait. Last year, Delta launched Atlanta-Dubai non-stop service; it recently boosted frequencies on that route from five a week to six, and will increase them to daily service on October 6. Delta also flies to Tel Aviv from both Atlanta and New York JFK, and plans to introduce new non-stop service from JFK to Cairo on June 5 and to Amman, Jordan effective June 6. The airline also operates JFK-Istanbul service.
