Promises prices on its sitecan't be undercut
Delta Air Lines said last week that customers who find a website offering a lower Delta fare than the one they book on www.delta.com will get a full refund; or as an alternative, Delta will refund the difference in fares and give the customer a $100 electronic travel voucher. If the customer wants a full refund – “no questions asked,” Delta said -- he must cancel his delta.com itinerary within 24 hours of purchase. If he wants the fare differential refund and the $100 voucher, he must submit a claim by midnight the same day he purchased the delta.com ticket, so that Delta can verify the information. To qualify for that option, the difference in fares must be at least $10 and the lower fare must be for the exact same Delta flight, date, cabin, booking class and flight time as the one booked on Delta’s web site.
