American makes more improvements to aa.com booking tool

American Airlines said it has installed another round of enhancements to its booking engine at www.aa.com, giving customers a greater range of possibilities in searching for schedules and fares. By using tabs at the top of the flight results page, users can now see the lowest available price for three days before and after their selected departure date. The initial flight results page will also show more flight options now than before – up to 40, if that many are available. By clicking a new link on the bottom of the search results page, users can find all flights available at a particular price. They will also be able to navigate forwards or backwards in the booking process without starting over. And holders of American’s AAirpass will be able to book flights through the site.
