Eos expands

Eos will add two more transatlantic routes next year

Eos Airlines, which operates all-premium-class service between New York JFK and London’s Stansted Airport with 48-passenger 757s, said it will open up two new routes next year: Newark-London Stansted and New York JFK-Paris. The Newark service is expected to begin sometime in the spring, the airline said, and the Paris route will be added in fall 2008. Based on the success of its existing operation, Eos recently obtained another $50 million in investment capital, which it plans to use to acquire its seventh and eighth 757s. The company said it could add as many as four new routes next year. When Newark service begins, Eos will offer a total of 58 flights a week from the New York City area to London.
