Bring your own linens on board
Don’t know where those onboard airplane blankets have been? If just the thought makes you squeamish, bring your own cabin cuddler (cabincuddler.com, $35), a micro-fleece travel blanket with a wraparound design. Another way to keep germs at bay: plane sheets (planesheets.com, washable $25-30, disposable $13), which are designed to fit over airline seats and come in two sizes (coach and first/business class) and an array of colors.
