Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

Austin-Bergstrom International consistently places near the top of airport satisfaction surveys. It’s modern, user-friendly and relatively compact and fast Wi-Fi is widely available. Travelers can even enjoy Austin-style live music and barbecue in the concession area. The airport is served by Air Canada, American, Continental, Delta, ExpressJet, Frontier, JetBlue, Northwest, Southwest, United, US Airways, and vivaAerobus. Downtown Austin is around 11 miles away, about a 15- to 20-minute ride in normal conditions. A taxi ride to downtown costs about $20–25 for a solo passenger. For an airport shuttle (about $13 for a shared ride), try SuperShuttle (supershuttle.com). The airport’s home page is at ci.austin.tx.us/austinairport/
