Travelling by air has never been easier for people, with so many instant prices, comparison tools and simple booking procedures. However if you are a business traveller, you sometimes need a bit more than just the cheapest deal.

Quite often you will need to make multi-stops, sudden changes to your itinery of instant departures to meet the needs of your clients. Although tools like Cheap flights and biz class travel market are effective at getting a great deal on a business flight, they don't necessarily help when you need to make a sudden changes in arrangements.

That is why it is always a good idea to look at business flight specialists such as Skyclub or Skyjet business travel to ensure that if things change you have a team behind you that can sort it out. I talk from experience here, after I made a recent trip to New York to visit a supplier.

I booked a flight through SkyClub after a recommendation from a close business friend. They had used the service before and had got a good deal ona flight to Singapore. This was my first time using this type of business class booking service, so I phoned Skyclub to speak to an operator. After booking the flight, I received the tickets a few days later and left for New York the following week.

During the trip I had two issues that arose. The first issue was that my hotel I had booked through an online booking service (which I wont name) had double booked me on arrival. Not only did they confirm that I was covered, but they even got alternative arrangements sorted out for me (first Brownie point). The second issue was that our supplier was stuck in Chicago and couldn't get out to meet me, which would have been a wasted trip for me, had I not re-contacted SkyClub and got them to arrange a flight to Chicago to meet them.

In summary, it always makes sense to use an agent when travelling business class, as you never know what is going to happen. When it comes to your business, (which, if your like me, is also your livelyhood) then it is not worth the risk to save a few extra pounds or dollars. Most reputable business class booking operators have access to deals not offered on the net, so you may find they are cheaper anyway.
