LIAT will takeovertake over a competitor in the Caribbean next month
Antigua-based LIAT on November 15 will take over the operations of Caribbean Star Airlines, a regional competitor. The combined fleet of LIAT and former Caribbean Star Dash-8 aircraft will continue to operate the same schedules that the two carriers offered separately. “Customers should experience no interruption of their travel itineraries as a result of the transfer of aircraft and closure of Caribbean Star,” said Caribbean Star CEO Skip Barnette, a former Delta executive. “The flight schedule will continue as published, and LIAT will operate the flights formerly flown by Caribbean Star equipment and crews.” For specifics, go to www.liat.com.
