Since Moscow is mentioned above, here is my opinion. The Marriott Aurora Moscow is not only beautiful, some of the best hotel service is given here. After a few days at this outstanding hotel, I said "bye" to my 3 new-best friends--i.e., the person who checked me in, the business center person, and the waiter who served breakfast to me each day. These young people spoke excellent English and were extremely friendly. Another favorite is the Marriott Plaza Buenos Aires. I stay there every few months, and the staff always recognizes me and "welcomes me home". The piano player just outside the three restaurants always plays, "New York, New York", when he sees me coming down the hall--even when he doesn't know I've just checked in. This is a place where you are made to feel "right at home". This year the hotel marks its 100th "birthday".

I love the fact that I can find a Marriott in almost any city I travel to for business.
