Global hotel group debuts five star category

Millennium Hotels & resorts (millenniumhotels.com) has rolled out a number of five-star hotels in its new brand, Grand Millennium. The luxury brand will expand in “key cities and major gateways” in Asia, the company says. Grand Millennium hotels feature large atriums, luxurious lobbies, in-house event coordinators, catering, spas, fitness centers, lap-size swimming pools and putting greens. Meanwhile, in the U.S., two Millennium hotels recently underwent a combined $50 million in renovations: the Millennium Boston and the Millennium Knickerbocker in Chicago.
