Two new Frankfurt routes coming this fall
Star Alliance partners United and Lufthansa have announced plans to begin new non-stop service to Frankfurt, Germany this fall from two U.S. cities. United said it will introduce daily non-stop 777 service December 15 from Los Angeles International to Frankfurt, supplementing its existing Frankfurt routes from San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Chicago. Meanwhile, Lufthansa plans an October 30 launch for new non-stop service from Orlando to Frankfurt, operating year-round five times a week. The new Lufthansa service will depart from Orlando on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
