JetBlue Airways said it will boost capacity on several Florida routes this year, and plans to add new Latin American routes from the Sunshine State as well. The airline said that effective immediately, service on six Florida routes that had operated only in winter will now keep flying year-round. Those routes include Charlotte-Ft. Lauderdale, Raleigh-Ft. Lauderdale, Richmond-Ft. Lauderdale, White Plains (N.Y.)-Ft. Myers, Burlington (Vt.)-Orlando and Portland (Me.)-Orlando. In addition, JetBlue said it will begin new service March 6 from Orlando to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, and on March 13 from Orlando to Cancun, Mexico. The airline said it is also awaiting government approval to launch new service sometime later this year from Orlando to Bogota, Colombia.
