New LAX lounges
LAX opens consolidated Oneworld lounge area
Oneworld alliance members British Airways, Cathay Pacific and Qantas last week opened a consolidated lounge facility at Los Angeles International’s Tom Bradley International Terminal. The facility – located on the Bradley Terminal’s Level 5 -- includes separate lounges for first class and business class passengers flying on those three airlines, or on Oneworld partners Japan Airlines and LAN, which also operate out of the Bradley Terminal. The lounges are also open to Oneworld Emerald or Sapphire tier cardhoilders flying on any Oneworld member. The new lounges will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.; they are equipped with showers, workstations with PCs, and buffet areas. The alliance’s U.S. member, American Airlines, has its own lounge facilities in Terminal 4, adjacent to the Bradley Terminal.
