New option at Denver

United announces Denver-London route

United Airlines said it will introduce its first transatlantic non-stop service from its Denver hub next year, with plans to launch flights to London Heathrow starting March 30, 2008. Currently, the only non-stop Denver-London service is offered by British Airways, which also serves Heathrow – but BA is a partner in the global Oneworld alliance with American Airlines. United currently offers code-share service on non-stops from Denver to Frankfurt and Munich, operated by Star Alliance partner Lufthansa. United said it will operate the daily London service with a three-class 777, with the economy cabin also offering 83 Economy Plus seats with extra legroom.
