1. Lock seats so they do NOT recline. The idea of having someone recline into your very limited personal space is ridiculous. 2. Go cashless. Frontier and Midwest have. 3. Take all pets out of the passenger cabin. Some airlines dropped peanuts because of allergies. Many people are allergic to animals, especially cats. 4. Board families with small children LAST not first. The kids get restless waiting for the rest of the people to board.

Surveying on airline Web sites, hotel amenities, and Internet service

I've noticed that your surveys never include questions about airline web sites. Some are very easy to navigate and some are not very user friendly, especially when trying to add a frequent flyer number or change seats. Another area of concern with hotels is amenities. Which hotels provide more amenities such as free internet, free breakfast, etc. And finally, which internet service is preferred, wired or wireless?

I notice nobody talks about vacations in the Caribbean of Dominican Republic. I went down there and had a blast with some of the finest escorts from charlisangels, The chicks are hot, drinks cold as ice, beautiful front beach villas. All-inclusive packages.

I am a consultant and travel 4-5x a month, so this site drew my attention. I read about it in today's WSJ. I'm guessing that there are a number of other business travelers like me always looking for resources to help us. So if you are an exec who wants to work out and eat right when you travel, check out www.athleticmindedtraveler.com It is undoubtedly one of the best discoveries I've made...via delicious and stumble upon.
Best,
Jon

Those simple travelers advise would help someone who needs that extra lift before retiring. I am interested in the web site you have mention.

I don't believe the government should dictate this effort, not yet anyway. It's up to the airlines to make good on their mistakes. Letting them choose how they handle customer service allows for competition. Customer service, along with ticket price and on time arrivals, should dictate who wins our loyalty as frequent travelers.

Although I agree with allowing "free trade" (price, service, reliability, etc) determine who ultimately wins the marketplace, there should be some minimum standards set. I'm sure the people stuck on a runway for ten hours are thinking more about "enforcement" rather than market forces.

I think Congress is the wrong place to take up this initiative. JetBlue is experiencing the wrath of their poor judgment and actions - but they are now putting together their own Passenger Bill of Rights - which is what SHOULD happen. In order to compete and retain high value customers (in a very competitive industry), the airlines should voluntarily take this up on their own.

Janet Libert's comments on the Newshour were textbook denialism.
I mean come on, airlines are competitive? I'll remember that the next time I'm belted into my seat and am treated poorly! Airlines aren't like taxis. You cant just get out of your seat and get another!

Ms. Leiber:
I have rarely seen an executive for any "New Source" with such a blatant bias and predetermined agenda as displayed by you, Ms. Leiber during your appearance on the Newshour program. You repeatedly refused to address the idea of compensation for abused passengers. You made obviously intentional errors and untrue statements about the causes of late arrivals. You refused to debate the real issues of who is at fault and why we should tolerate this mistreatment from the airlines.
Your performance and behavior begs the question, "Who is paying you for the performance?".
