Amsterdam airport adds treatment facility
Travelers at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport have a new way to kill time (and spend money) after they pass through Passport Control: The airport has opened a new XpreSpa facility, which it claims is the first of its kind at any European airport. “Treatments are tailored to the length of time passengers spend at the airport, with massages, manicures, pedicures and various facial treatments for men and women all carried out quickly and by skilled professionals,” a spokesman said. “Some treatments take as little as 10 minutes.” The spa is on the first floor of Departure Lounge 2 and is open daily from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. No appointments are needed.
