Virgin America’s next destination: Seattle
San Francisco-based Virgin America announced that it will add Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to its route network starting in March. The carrier already has plans to bring San Diego into the network beginning February 12, so Seattle will be the seventh city on Virgin America’s route map. The airline will begin three San Francisco-Seattle flights per day on March 18, followed by three daily Los Angeles-Seattle non-stops effective April 8, and a fourth daily LAX-Seattle flight starting May 11. Introductory fares available through January 17 start at $77 each way on economy and $177 in first class.
