Alaska makes mileage awards easier to find

Alaska Airlines has upgraded its web site (www.alaskaair.com) to make it easier for its Mileage Plan members to find and redeem award travel on Alaska and partner Horizon Air. With the site’s new Award Finder, members designate their desired route and they’ll be able to see all available award seats each day for the full month they select. Previously, members had to search one day at a time for award seat availability. “The new tool allows customers to see all award seat options for one-way and roundtrip itineraries on Alaska and Horizon, including Saver and Peak award seats, coach and first class seats, and award-sale seats,” a spokesman said. “Customers can book a different award seat type each way on a roundtrip.”
