All-business-class airline plans London-Dubai link
Silverjet, the British all-business-class carrier that operates between Newark and London’s Luton Airport, said it will add service this fall between London Luton and Dubai. The daily flight will begin November 18. The airline’s schedule will permit easy connections from Dubai to Newark for westbound travel, but not eastbound (Silverjet recently boosted its EWR-London schedule to two flights a day, but both eastbound flights arrive at Luton in the morning, and the Dubai flight departs from Luton in the evening). Fares on the London-Dubai route will start as low as $1,000 roundtrip for the fist month of service. Silverjet said its flights will use the Executive Terminal at Dubai’s airport.
