Thistle Hotels adds London luxury properties

Guoman brand will have six locations

Guoman Hotels (guoman.com), the luxury brand of the U.K.’s Thistle Hotels, has opened a collection of deluxe hotels in central London. Guoman hotels are individually designed but offer the same amenities, such as Egyptian cotton linens in all guestrooms, plasma TVs with satellite channels, Wi-Fi and Elemis toiletries in the bathrooms. Suite guests can enjoy the Guoman Club lounge, with executive check-in/out and complimentary refreshments. All hotels have meeting space, a specialized Meetings & Events welcome desk, and a team dedicated to corporate and social events. The Guoman collection of hotels includes the Cumberland, at the top of Park Lane; Charing Cross, near Trafalgar Square; and the Tower, with views of London’s Tower Bridge. Next to open will be the Royal Horseguards, on Whitehall Place, while two additional hotels—the Grosvenor, located adjacent to Victoria Station, and the art deco–style Marble Arch—will join Guoman over the next three years. Another Guoman property is also set to debut at Heathrow, connected to the new Terminal 5.
