US Airways/Air New Zealand code-share

US Airways inks code-share deal with Air New Zealand

Starting next month, US Airways flyers will be able to book trips to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific under the US Airways code, thanks to a new agreement between that carrier and Air New Zealand. The deal, still subject to government approvals, should make code-share flights available for booking as early as next month, US Airways said. US Airways would put its code on Air New Zealand’s transpacific flights out of Los Angeles and San Francisco, and Air New Zealand’s code would be available for connections via LAX and SFO on US Airways flights to Phoenix, Las Vegas, Charlotte, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
