Trips to Philly really should include a stop at Independence National Historial Park. This really gives you an insight into the culture of the city and what makes this city different from any other. Start at the Park's visitor center at 4th and Market. Make sure to ask a park ranger for the schedule of live events for the day you are visiting. Also, ask to see the Todd House and the Bishop White house. These can be viewed by tour only but are really fun to see. Takes you right back to 1776. Enjoy.
