Have you booked your summer vacation flights yet?
May 16 2008, 2:30 PM EDT The summer travel crunch is fast approaching, although it might not be quite as bad as last year (see this week’s story). Our question: Have you booked summer vacation flights yet? If so, did you get the travel dates you wanted at a reasonable fare? (The same question if you used miles.) Are rising air fares and/or the declining value of the dollar keeping you closer to home on your vacation this summer? Post your comments here. Do you find this valuable? |

May 19 2008, 10:16 AM EDT I recently booked ORD-CLT-SAN-ORD on UAL for August and got the dates and times I wanted. The airfare was around $540 USD per person. Fortunately I was able to talk to a reservationist in The USA who fully understood what I wanted and not India where most of us have trouble making them understand what is needed. Now if the upgrades come through it will be a good trip. Do you find this valuable? |
