Jul 29 2008, 9:13 PM EDT Ben, how much time you save all depends on where you cross the border. We use it between Port Huron and Sarnia where 3 lanes of traffic cross the bridge in each direction. They use one lane for trucks, one for cars, and the middle lane is kept free and clear for Nexus. Sometimes its possible for passenger cars to have a 3 hour wait that Nexus can reduce to a couple of minutes. However, if you are at another crossing like the Windsor tunnel where there is only one lane in each direction, the Nexus will only save you the last 15-20 minutes of your wait (i.e. after you have reached the point where you reach the Nexus lane). Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 29 2008, 11:26 PM EDT Good to know. I'll be using the Peace Arch and Pacific Highway crossings mostly, in Blaine, WA (between Seattle and Vancouver). The car wait there varies widely, sometimes zero but sometimes an hour or more. Thanks! Do you find this valuable? |

Aug 20 2008, 2:43 PM EDT Ben, My family lives in Bellingham, and we use NEXUS very often at the Peace arch crossing to see friends in Vancouver. It's been worth every penny! The longest we've waited has been 15 minutes or so, and that's when the rest of the lanes are there for over two hours. ~ken Do you find this valuable? |
