Thinking Globally and the Self-Actualization process
Jan 13 2007, 3:21 AM EST Abraham Maslow describes this process (which occurs as we grow older) as self-actualization. This the desire to realize one’s full potential or to maximize one’s capabilities. After you achieve money and success, what else are you to do? Call it quits? Nope, it's time to consider or "actualize" your legacy - that is, when you depart from this earth, what will you leave for the world around you? Do you find this valuable? |
