Jan 22 2007, 4:52 PM EST Do you think the government's "no-fly" list needs fine-tuning? Do you know anyone who's been unfairly detained due to confusion over names on the list? Do you find this valuable? |

Jan 23 2007, 9:32 AM EST Yes!! I have been unfairly detained at the airport several times. I am not able to pre-print boarding documents online or at kiosk desks. Waiting in long check in lines is most annoying for a frequent business traveler. Counter employees tell me my last name must be similar to someone else's name on the "watch list". It's a polite way of saying I'm being watched for having a popular middle eastern last name. I am a white, 35 year old female with no record of any questionable behavior! I have tracked down the TSA form that I think may help me in the future, which by the way was no easy task on their website. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jan 23 2007, 10:27 AM EST Thanks for your comment. I'm sure you are not alone. Hopefully sending in the TSA form will make a difference, if that agency is sincere in its plan to conduct a serious review of the no-fly list. Do you find this valuable? |
