Would you ever book an air taxi?
Mar 19 2007, 9:57 AM EDT The FAA predicts rapid growth in the number of new-technology “very light jets” that will offer air taxi service in the years to come. Would you ever consider booking an air taxi as an alternative to a commercial airline, as the latter become more crowded and as air taxis become more affordable? Does your company give you that option? Under what circumstances would you seek out an air taxi flight? Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Would you ever book an air taxi?
Mar 19 2007, 8:22 PM EDT How many planes can you fit in the sky? With the crowded conditions and our 1950's air traffic control system, I would need reassurance on safety. Do you find this valuable? |

And I think it's a great idea for elderly seniors like my Dad who can afford a higher quality, less stressful travel experience than commerical flights and the TSA requirements currently offer. I'm seriously exploring it for a trip from Baltimore to New England this summer. Driving him directly to the plane and avoiding the screening hassle and the time it takes to deal with commercial flights is worth every penny in ease of travel.
