New routes to Europe?
May 7 2007, 10:00 AM EDT
European and U.S. officials last week formally signed a new “open skies” agreement that should lead to the opening up of a number of new routes between the two after March 2008. Our question this week: Are there any particular new non-stop routes you’d like to see between the U.S. and Europe, or any airlines you’d like to see flying more routes across the Atlantic – and why? Do you find this valuable?

I would like to to see Easyjet and Ryanair fly non-stop Europe - SFO. The current airlines are giving lousy service and uncomfortable seats. What we need are the truly low-cost airlines who don't pretend to give service, but just get you there to offer really cheap flights and the current airlines can either charge more and offer service, or compete. It would stop them being in the high fare, no service business. Do you find this valuable?
