Do you avoid Heathrow?
Oct 21 2007, 10:22 PM EDT
: In this week’s news, Delta will start flying to London Heathrow, a new door-to-door van service is starting there, and Virgin Atlantic is overhauling its check-in at LHR. Our question: Given all the bad press Heathrow has received due to congestion, security delays, missed connections and lost baggage, do you still prefer it as your main European connecting point, or do you use other European hubs? Post your comments here. Do you find this valuable?

I have been to Europe seven times this year and I still try to avoid LHR when making a connection due to the distances you have to go between terminals. I have to allow 2 1/2 hours at a minimum in order to make my connection. I have found that FRA is the best for connections 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
